Make Your Zakah Work For A Noble Cause This Ramadan

ramadan 2010 zakat projectsBelieving that every single thing belongs to Allah (nothing is ours though we claim so), and wealth is therefore held by us is a trust is one of the most important principles of Islam.

The word Zakah means ‘purification’ and ‘growth’. In other words, our wealth is purified by setting aside a part of it for those in need. This is similar to pruning of a plant. The wealth is purified and grown by cutting back the balances. Continue Reading »

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Assalamu Alaikum Warahmathullah,

Allah’s Messenger Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said:“If the mountain of Uhud were turned into gold for me, I would not like three nights to pass and one dinar still be left with me, excepting what I would leave for paying my debts” meaning, he would not rest until his money was spent in Allah’s cause.

DA’WAH CORNER’s Dry ration distribution charity targets the poor and the needy among both the Reverts and the Muslims. Last year Allah helped us to distribute 51 packs, Alhamdulillah. But this year, Insha Allah, the target quantity will be more than 1000. Continue Reading »

Invite [all] to the Way of your Rabb with wisdom and beautiful preaching … (Qur’an 16:125) Continue Reading »

How To Make Dawah?

More Than Eighty Ways To Make Daw’ah!

Written by Dr. Bilal Philips

All praise is due to Allaah who expressed the highest praise for the “caller” to his religion saying: “And who is better in speech than one who calls to Allaah and works righteousness and says: ‘Surely I am of the Muslims.’ ”(41: 33).
