Ulhiya distribution to poor and new Muslims in Sri Lanka

As you know Ulhiya is a ritual of Muslims perform on Eid ul alha. A share of Ulhiya should reach almost every Muslim specially too poor one, also new Muslims.

Generally we experienced in past occasions share of Ulhiya does not properly reach either of above mentioned categories. Some get one or two share some not at all. This time we intend to distribute equally in our level best.

We hope to distribute this trough the mosques where Muslims majority, other areas through selected centres. This program will be carried out throughout the Island.

Method of distribution

Since Hajj festival is approaching us the price of the cattle has gone up in the market. So we decided to the Ulhiya in following method.

In Colombo (Capitol of Sri Lanka) present cattle market is between Rupees 45,000/= (450 US Dollars) to 50,000/= (500 US Dollars) If anybody wishes to contribute a potion (1/7) He may do so by contribution of the above mentioned amount.

The person who willing to give Ulhiya in outside of Colombo (Rural areas) could do so according to their market price of Rupees 35,000/= (350 US Dollars) to 45,000/= (450 US Dollars) If anybody wishes to contribute a potion (1/7) He may do so by contribution of the above mentioned amount.

This Ulhiya will be distributing out 51 centres in 17 districts.
